Crumpets are a popular toaster bread from the U.K. similar to English muffins—they even have "craters" that hold melted butter and jam. Crumpets are made from a different dough with a slightly sweeter taste, and they don't need to be split in half—pop the whole crumpet in the toaster and top it with plenty of butter and jam or whatever you like!   Sold in a package of 6.
 
Traditional crumpets aren't generally cooked on both sides initially, so you may receive crumpets a bit lighter in color than pictures; either way they are so very tasty; chewy and crispy, buttery deliciousness!!
 
Ingredients:    
 
PLAIN:  water, milk, butter, flour, yeast, baking powder, salt
SOURDOUGH:  flour, water, sugar, baking powder, butter (for grilling)
 
 
PREORDER:  Bakery preorders are for Saturday morning pickup or delivery.  Thursday evening is the cutoff for each week's order (example:  orders placed February 23-27 are for a March 1st pickup/delivery; orders placed Friday 3/2 -Thursday 3/6 will be for the following Saturday, March 8th).  You can choose to pickup at the farm from 8-11 am Saturday morning, or add the $5 delivery option for Saturday morning home delivery to Bozeman or Belgrade.  If you would like delivery, you MUST add the separate delivery listing to your cart.
 
Feel free to add on any of our other products from the store to be included with your Saturday pickup or delivery.  Just choose the Saturday option on the listing and we'll get it all combined for you; no need to worry about the pickup only option stated on the listing if you have a bakery delivery on the order.
